“Scam consumption” is an easy cycle of the modern human being. Everything we know, is scam. Books are scam, because they teach us about things told by somebody, not a true. Internet is scam because it consists of the unverified sources. Science is scam because we don’t know the real nature of things. Religion is scam because it tries to make all humans slaves and leave in fear, at the time they are born free. Music is scam because it’s not free, but created for money. Everything which is created for money, is scam, because money is sort of hyper-scam invented by those who print money to make them rich. We consume one type of scam and give back the other. “Scam consumption” is also the very first track we have recorded in terms of “Sebo de Tripa” project, the very first cut, the most proper one. This track is about everything. It comes from the deep inspiration of scam, and it’s being scam itself. Take care when listening to it: it’s dangerous and may change your mind. After listening you may awake and perceive all things completely different way. Authors keep no responsibility.
“Scuffs” is about historical sort of scam. The track is dedicated to the Latvian-born sculptor Edward Leedskalnin, who built the world-famous Coral Castle located in Florida. There are many tales and misteries about how Edward moved tons of coral blocks for his castle, but by now nobody knows it for sure. Internet is full of different scam stories about Edward, at the time he was quite a hidden secret agent, and nobody could know a lot about him, because he left no documental traces except his Castle. One of them is dedicated to the story of Edward’s unlucky marriage. Many sources tell us his bride name was Agnese Scuffs, but nobody knows where this name comes from. Actually, “scuffs” means “the dirty slut” in downground English dialect, but Edward’s bride’s name was different – Hermine Lusis. Wind and field recordings used in this track, were recorded in Babite, a mysterious cold place near Riga, where a man often loses himself, and then combined live with playing the arabic flute purchased in Israel. Most probably it should contain something sacred and scared.

I suppose these are unrehersed jamms that get lucky.
Most of the time these are the jamms that get sampled for Radio Scotvoidâs studio recordings.
We thought youâd like to hear some of the jamms in full.
It is about as close as youâll get to hearing this project live as unfortunatly (or not) these jamms will never be heard the same again.
The My Brother Daniel live project has itâs roots in surrealism, jazz/funk, ambient/acid house and DIY/Bent recording stylings.

With this concert I think we made a significant work. A combination sometimes soft but also brutal and depressing, around the electronics and the winds or percussion instruments originalities, sounding not always in an orthodox manner.
There are duets, trios and tuttis with high and low density circulating in accidents of spontaneity and inevitability as if it were the seasons. There are storm and calm; there are approaches to nature and urbanism, the past and the future. Above all, there is the concept of music in its deepest sense – the freedom of creation.
What actually happened was that this group of musicians, most of us Portuguese pioneers of improvisation, joined after nearly 30 years for a single moment in the collapse of apathy on the Lisbon art. Of course we had accomplished this work with the experience from past lives with big names of this aesthetic, but also on the way to new and reinvented sound solutions that are born every day in our guts.
