The one track EP “Speaking with Angels”, arose from the collaboration between December Nightskies and Sean Derrick Cooper Marquardt, evokes images exactly like it’s title suggests. The track conjures a view of an engless gray landscape completely covered in oddly-shaped clouds as far as the eye can see: a canopy over the unseen ground. The sky is gray, at least in the beginning, but as the track progresses, the sky opens up into a beautiful blue vista, and colour comes into the gray world, envelops everything, and you drift peacefully in an outburst of colours and mysterious yet strangely soothing angelic visions.
