Godoy: Renato grew up playing among rock bands in Rio de Janeiro. Since early 00\u2019s, he began to incorporate improvisation into his projects, which include Bossal, Muwei and Chinese Cookie Poets.<\/p>\n

During an ethnographic research project on free improvisation in Brazil, saxophonist Franziska Schroeder met guitarist Marcos Campello and drummer Renato Godoy. The trio joined musical forces in May 2014 at Rio de Janeiro\u2019s Audiorebel recording studio to play and record. \u201cBarely Cool\u201d is the result of a day long musical encounter of the three improvisors.<\/p>\n
Durante sua pesquisa etnogr\u00e1fica sobre improvisa\u00e7\u00e3o livre no Brasil, a saxofonista Franziska Schroeder conheceu o guitarrista Marcos Campello e o baterista Renato Godoy. Em maio de 2014 o trio se juntou no est\u00fadio AudioRebel, no Rio de Janeiro, para uma sess\u00e3o de improvisa\u00e7\u00e3o. \u201cBarely Cool\u201d \u00e9 o resultado desse encontro.<\/p>\n
