Works which deal with the following themes are especially encouraged:<\/p>\n<h3>Theme 1 &#8211; Music at the Crossroads<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Engaging with Folk Music in contemporary contexts<\/li>\n<li>Sounds of Tradition<\/li>\n<li>Responding to past and present<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Theme II &#8211; Interfaces, Interactions and Improvisation<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>New musical interfaces\/instruments<\/li>\n<li>Exploration of gestures and what they trigger<\/li>\n<li>The performer as composer: new directions in improvisation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Deadline and Notification<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Deadline for music submissions:\u00a0<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><b>Friday 27th March 2015<\/b><\/span><\/li>\n<li>Notification of music acceptance:\u00a0<b>Wednesday 20th May 2015<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Submissions<\/h3>\n<blockquote><p><center>ALL SUBMISSIONS MUST BE ANONYMOUS. REMOVE ALL MENTION OF AUTHOR(S) ON ALL MATERIALS SUBMITTED IN SECTION (B) OR ON ANYTHING PERTAINING TO THE WORK AND ITS DOCUMENTATION.<\/center><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Please download the music call document below.
