Die Schrauber: Live in Mexico
Acheulian Handaxe aha0701

The trio DIE SCHRAUBER is an ongoing collaboration between Hans Tammen, Joker Nies & Mario DeVega involving live sound processing, circuit bending and glitch sampling. A wide variety of dense musical textures, high-energy interaction, but also sparse and pointilistic statements result from the sophisticated and immediate control over their electronic instruments – Joker Nies with his resistance sensitive contacts, Mario DeVega’s Teleo-based proximity sensors, and Hans Tammen with his Endangered Guitar controller.

Recorded 2005 at TRANSITIO_MX festival Mexico City, released 2007 on my own label Acheulian Handaxe. Total Time: 62 minutes. With Hans Tammen - endangered guitar, Joker Nies - omnichord and circuitbent istruments, Mario de Vega - SPK®, glitch sampling.
