Approaching the vastness of harmonics from static stances the
microscopic world of materials is revealed. But the constant
horizontal long bow strokes rather than ruling out gesture with their
calmness, transform contained intensity into a multi layered stream
of drones, much like the slow turning of a suspended glass prism
under the sun.
Acercndose a la vastedad de los armnicos desde planteamientos
estticos, el mundo microscpico de los materiales aparece. Los
trazos horizontales, constantes del arco no prescinden del gesto con
su quietud, sino que transforman la intensidad contenida en
corrientes de pedales superpuestos, como el lento girar de un cristal
suspendido al sol.

Devoid of attack, continuous string sounds question the direction of
movement. We cannot pretend there is no kinetic sense? and for a
magic endless moment we wonder whether it is the frame or the
landscape that travels. Chordal possibilities are unburied from their
unlikely source and their tone varies along with the static journey?s
progress.
Sin ataque, sonidos continuos de las cuerdas cuestionan la direccin
del movimiento. No cabe pensar que no hay direccin de movimiento? y
por un momento mgico, interminable, nos preguntamos si es el marco o
el paisaje el que viaja. Posibilidades de acordes emergen de su
dudosa fuente y el tono cambia con el progreso del viaje esttico.

Concrte observation of the harp approaching its possibilities as
sound source. Sound patterns observed as they evolve in their varying
harmonic configuration, changing points of departure from the sound
board, evolving envelops amplified and modulated of attached metal. A
concern with the slow, almost immobile, of electronic ascendancy.
Mirada concreta del arpa que explora sus posibilidades como fuente
ruidista. Patrones sonoros vistos segn evolucionan en cambiante
configuracin armnica, mudando puntos de partida en la caja de
resonancia, desplegando envolventes amplificadas y moduladas por el
metal. Inters por lo lento, casi inmvil, de ascendencia electrnica.
Mark Wastell
Concerned with the simplicity of outlook this piece presents an empty
appearance akin to meditation. Quiet nocturnal drops unveil the
reverberation over the surface of a membrane. Pulse follows its own
course, in its own time rather than externally decided, ruffling the
pond?s surface and occasionally wrinkling the reflection.
Preocupado por la simplicidad de la mirada, esta pieza plantea una
apariencia vaca, afn a la meditacin. Calladas gotas nocturnas
desvelan la reverberacin en la superficie de una membrana. El pulso
sigue su propio curso, ms a su tiempo que segn criterios externos,
agitando la superficie del estanque y ocasionalmente arrugando el
reflejo.
