CALL for
RADIO ART
Aimed at women resident in Catalonia, regardless of age or nationality.
To be submitted:
a sound piece lasting 15 to 20 minutes created for radio broadcast containing ideas on the notion of sound as the symbol of a place and a community (participants should read the linked PDF file)
The sound piece should be recorded on an audio CD and sent by post to:

The CD should be accompanied by a written synopsis of the work, a biography of the composer and contact details.
Deadline: 1st September 2009.
Four winning compositions will be chosen from all those received and will be broadcast on the Música i Geografia programme and on Ràdio Gràcia.
The jury will be made up of three people linked to GTS.
All participants will be sent an email with the final result, which will also be posted on the GTS website.
The winning composers will each receive €500.
The composers shall be responsible for recording and mastering their work.
The composers shall hold the rights to their compositions and shall authorise GTS to broadcast them on Música i Geografia and on a special programme on Ràdio Gràcia. The compositions shall not be made public in any other form without the composers’ express authorisation.
