framework – phonography / field recording; contextual and decontextualized sound activity
presented by patrick mcginley

some sounds from the innova label and it’s founder philip blackburn this week, including a piece that should bring back memories for anyone who grew up listening to npr in 1980′s america like i did (or who still listens today, for that matter).  also several selections from a francisco lopez release from new york’s gdstereo label, another look at sebastiane hegary‘s mo(nu)ment project, some old-school tweets from jesse paul miller,  and some no-longer-quite-so-new sounds from new zealander richard francis.  all this after a robotic framework intro recorded by osvaldo cibils.

again, we are always looking for material for the show, whether raw field recordings, field recording based composition, or introduction submissions.  we are also now accepting proposals for full editions of our guest curated series.  send proposals or material, released or not, on any format, to the address below.  if you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to get in touch!
