Scott Sherk spent a month collecting sounds in and around Reykjavik,
Iceland as part of an SIMS residency. Iceland’s dramatic landscape of
severe, gray extremes effects the sounds that resonate in the
crystal-clear air. The twelve recordings that comprise “Icelandic Air”

tinkering around with this… would appreciate hearing how
it sounded… a short sample linked sequence (tried various
approaches including flash and javascript, but maybe this is
simplier and better — hoping to I come-up with a way to
script all the sound/title file names)
