From July 29th to August 8th the exhibition ton:art 2010 will take place at Galerie Margit Haupt, Karlsruhe, Germany. The artwork on display is in the domain of interactive sonic art, electronical music instruments and music informatics.
All works were made by students of the institute for musicology and music informatics (IMWI) at the University of Music in Karlsruhe. ton:art lets you take a look how musical instruments may look in the future. The exhibition also shows interactive sound installations and a media terminal with compositions done by students. Furthermore there will be five events with performances, laptop bands, electronic compsositions, DJ and live visuals.
Vernissage will take place on July 29th at 8 p.m., the exhibition’s opening hours are from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.
