Johannes Bergmark is a sound and performance artist, composer, piano technician, skeptic and surrealist. He plays improvised music using sound objects and invented and unusual instruments. At present, his main instrument is amplified objects using the Platforms system. Sometimes he uses the musical saw, Micro Moog, acoustic feedback objects etc. He also makes sound sculptures, sound poetry and electroacoustic pieces as well as produces critical writing on a number of subjects. Prefers the experimental living inventive curious rebellious poetic and trashy to high-brow officially established “quality”, if that means politically correct bourgeois culture under the realm of commercial repressive tolerance.
