Over the past few months I have been working on a project examining the way in which field recordings can emphasise the narrative of visual art. I have added field recordings and compositions to Australian works of art to highlight their visual narrative.

Although those of us working in audio often wish to raise the level of “sound” in the arts hierarchy, I believe that both the visual and auditory art forms can co-exist in a productive way. To listen (and view) some of the results please visit my site.
