Sound Art Ireland’This was a very enjoyable and inspiring performance. At two hours in I thought OK let’s get started, but it was over. I used some Zenjungle sax samples which he very kindly sent me for the gig. I use a lot of vocal samples, field recordings, and guitar. The piece starts on the left of picture and over the first forty minuets works it’s way from left to right with five min. overlap. This is a low-res mp3 for dl as I know nobody has 2 hours to spend on SC. Thanks, j ps: This will only be up for a few days due to time limits on my space.

Hi,
http://remix-contest.berliner-philharmoniker.de/tracks/53SUBMITTED BY TUNEDIN52 3 DAYS AGO
’His own First Symphony, given its American debut on 16 December 1909, was one of the pieces that failed with critics and public, and the season ended with heavy financial losses’. ^ Carr, pp. 172–73
I thought about this great composer, his work immortalised on some kind of indestructible carrier, forever journeying through deep space for all sentient beings to wonder at.

A new album on Bandcamp. http://tunedin52.bandcamp.com/
Mostly live recordings using guitar, loop station, effects, Mac Book running Gleetchlab. There are some field recordings and mixing. All sounds are played or created by Tunedin52 aka John Daly. The album starts as it means to go on with the track ‘Pre listening’ an ethereal journey with some mild turbulence, a few intrusions, exploring an atmosphere infused with sonic vibrations and random pulses.

Sound-Snippets is a project. 10 different sound practitioners provide the ingredients for a collective piece.
Participants provide four separate sound ‘snippets’, each no shorter than 10 seconds and no longer than 60 seconds.
Each of the pracitioners assembles the parts in their own style or methodology, providing a range of different versions from the identical material, using no effect excepting the following;
• volume levels including fades
• cross fading or multi layering
• duplication
The final pieces are then assembled into a presentation, the number of tracks matching the number of protagonists,
(10 participants = 10 different versions, all constructed with the same ingredients).
Curent members:
• Anthony Kelly
• David Stalling
• Ed Devane
• Francis Heery
• Harry Moore
• Jeremy H
• John Daly
• Robin Parmer
• Sighell
• Tony LThe sound snippets group is now up and running. Harry Moore, the moderator has invited the members to submit a second mix. Personally
I find that as I become familiar with the snippets and the work of the other contributors I feel more free and relaxed about the mix. It is a privilege and a most enjoyable experience to work on the sound contributions of these artists. -
Nice to meet you too, been listening to all your work, very impressed and inspired.
