Yes there seems to be an oppressive,insidious approval of what is going on. People are either protecting their own positions, hoping the subject will simply go away or looking how they can benefit from not paying the artists.
Art needs to reclaim its position of manifesting against injustices, not supporting them in their in their intention of making art into a docile reflection of their hollow consumerism.
We are facing one of the biggest attacks have occurred against artistic creativity. The idea is to convert the artistic manifestations in hobbies.
