Field recordings in Japan and sound manipulation in London.

She is a digital/acoustic music producer, video maker, singer. Between 1995 and 2004 she lived in Europe. she graduated from Sound Engineering college in UK, worked as an assistant sound engineer at Mark Angelo recording studio, other private studios for 3 years. Studying electronics led her to go into the ceation of dance music, electronica, then shoothed in the sound arts/ electro-acoustic music. In 2000, Melange Records began. It achieved 15 releases (her own,other artists). As Audio/Visual artist, she travelled to Europe, Japan, America to join in festivals and concerts. there are many collaborative works with others, Eliane Radigue, Kaffe Mattews, AGF, Tony Conrad, etc. In 2005, returning to Japan she took apprenticeship to Nagauta (Jp traditional music for kabuki, Geisha) singing/shamisen practice, study of Kineie style.

Her solo works were published in the past under the name of Ryo Co. and Ryoko Kuwajima. After the marriage, she works as Ryoko Akama.

All digital recordings have their respective copyrights. Have been published by reductive music.
