“Release” was recorded and produced in only one day in June 2011.
Making for “quite a depressing and thought provoking” experience, as one dedicated listener appropriately pointed out, this track is an expression of some rather personal ideas of mine exemplified by the accompanying picture showing part of a photograph of a Senegalese soldier’s wife, circa 1913. (The image itself is in the public domain.)
