Sound as a fundamental element of music composition can be widely used by contemporary artists within installations and constructions either accompanying two dimensional imprints (painting, photography, collage), performances, video art, or consisting  inspiration source for image and object creation.

Reworks 2011 attempts, this year to build an artistic platform which will highlight young artists, by introducing to its program a contemporary exhibition containing artworks and sound installations which will include sound, or will depict the acoustic experience through symbols, incorporating all available means.

Reworks art department invites new artists to send their proposals until 1/8/2011, in order to participate to the exhibition, with artworks which underline the connection between sound (electronic in preference) and artistic practises or interactive media.
