Bryan Lewis Saunders né en 1969 est un artiste multimedia (conteur, poète, peintre, vidéaste) qui explore les territoires extrêmes de la souffrance. Il est considéré comme l’un des grands inspirateurs du genre théâtral de la « stand-up tragedy » ainsi que de la pratique d’écriture basée le « stream of unconscious » (transcription d’états proches de l’inconscience). Ses performances sont programmées dans le monde entier.
